CHRISTmas time is here...

Happy Pink Saturday & Merry CHRISTmas to all of you pinkies. First of all, I am so upset...I cannot get my camera to put pics. on my computer:( I am just going to tell you of my favorite tradition.
Every year, for as long as I can remember my Mom has given us pajamas on CHRISTmas eve night so that we could be in nice new jammies when Santa arrived:) We have kept this tradition going, so now not only the kids get new jammies even all of the adults do. LOL It is alot of fun.

I am back

I have not been participating in Pink Saturday for a few weeks, but I am back...just in time for my favorite time of the year, CHRISTmas!
My first photo is one of my tree. It is not very big, but it is cozy. I love the black, purple & silver.
My next picture is one of a very special ornament. It is one that I made for my baby that is in Heaven with Jesus. I had a miscarriage 8 years ago & I always had a feeling that it was a boy, so we named him. He seemed more real & important with a name. I guess when we get to Heaven if he is a she we will not call her Tyler. LOL This ornament is the first one to go on the tree every year.

Pink saturday

Ladies, I am so sorry...my camera is not letting me load pictures onto my computer. I have been off of my game lately. I am soooo sorry. I do however have some thoughts on a few things that I think would be lovely if they were pink...Wouldn't it be great if we had pink snow??? Or pink mountains??? Maybe in Heaven a part of it will be for all of us pinkies & we can enjoy such things.

Returning to Pink Saturday

Hello again, ladies...I have been away from Pink Saturday for a while. Life has been so busy since we started back to school. Last week Emma slammed William's toe in the door nearly cutting his toe off!!! Needless to say, I did not have time to post last Saturday.
Today I am posting a picture of a pink & white doily that one of my great Grandma's crochet. I don't really know how old it is, but it matches my things very nicely.

Early Pink Saturday

I am posting early for Pink Saturday. I am getting my wisdom teeth out today & don't know if I will feel like posting later.
To start out I am posting a picture of my new curtains. I have recently decided to change my t.v. room & add alot of pink. My Mom gave these curtains to me for my birthday. I will be posting more pictures as the room comes along. The picture to the right of my curtains is My Grandparents wedding picture. I love having it:)William has really been into signing his name lately. He drew this picture for me on my pink dry erase board & signed his name. He said "Mommy you can put this on the computer for pink saturday". LOL He is so sweet:)

Pink saturday

My post for today is my precious little girl. We went shopping for her ballet clothes. She is so excited to start ballet:) She had to wear her stuff ALL day. It was so cute. By the way, she chose the pink one. I was delighted! When we got home her Uncle told her that if she cleaned he would buy her ice cream. So she was content to sit on the porch & eat.
I am so thankful for my pink princess. I am sure I will be posting many pictures of ballet.

Pink beauty

I am a bit late posting today...yesterday was a busy day & I forgot until my head hit the pillow. So better late than never, right? I was thinking of how God is so brilliant! Even in His creation He made things that He knew we would enjoy. He wants us to be happy & enjoy the things around us. I chose to post a picture of a pink sunset! I love the sunset any-way, but isn't it amazing how it can be so beautiful?Yesterday we were in the car & my William was amazed at the beautiful rolling hills with cows grazing on them. He is very expressive & I think that God loves it when we are that way with His creation!

Last July Pink Saturday

Oh my goodness, can you believe that it is our last Pink Saturday of July? The summer has just flown by! Well, yesterday was my birthday & I received some pink things, so I thought it would be great to share them with you:) First of all my Mom made me this yummy ice cream cake that looks like watermelon. It is lime & raspberry sherbet with chocolate chips in it. It didn't want to come out of the bowl right but it still tasted yummy:)I took a picture of most of the gifts that were given to me...included is a pink & black purse that my Mom bought for me:) I love new purses especially when they are pink. My husband gave me some perfume, my sister gave me a necklace, some earrings & the believe sign. My son gave me a bracelet & my daughter gave me some earrings. WOW, I was blessed this year. My Mom always makes sure that it is a great day! Thank God for her:)

Best friends are God's gift:)

Happy Pink Saturday to every-one of you fabulous pink ladies:) For those of you who stopped by last week...sorry I forgot to post. I had to go to work & forgot:( Hope this Saturday makes up for it! I have been going through a very tough time in my life right now. I was on the phone with my best friend of 17 years and I was telling her that I have cried every-day for the last 2 weeks. So the next day the beautiful flowers that are pictured below were delivered to me:)I was shocked because I don't have any-one that would send flowers to me...or so I thought. The card read "because we are best friends forever". It brought tears to my eyes! I am blessed with the best friend that there ever was!!!
Below is a picture of my dear friend, Miranda. Isn't she beautiful. This photo was taken on her wedding day...she was a beautiful bride. She has always been there for me no matter what and now is no exception. I thank God for putting Miranda in my life...He sure knew what He was doing when He did that :)

Trusting GOD

I have been dealing with alot of personal things lately...I am learning how to trust GOD. Why is that so hard? I want to be a strong woman of God & let Him work through me. I need to hear His precious voice! I want Him to be my best friend. I want to lean on Him for every-thing! Oh, God please help me!!!!!!!

pink independance day

I am finally back for this special pink saturday. I have a few things that I want to share with you.I know tha tyou can't see it but the tips of my nails are pink glitter...so cute. I love watches so when I saw this one I knew that I had to have it! Now to the best part of this post. I went to a gift shop last week with my Mom & saw the perfect purse & flat wallet. What girl can resist a new purse?

Pink saturday

Here we are at Pink Saturday again and once again I am late posting. I can't ever remember that it is Friday & that I need to post something. LOL Better late than never.
We took the kids to the carnival last night & William asked me to ride the ferris wheel with him, so my first picture is one of my new, really cute PINK & white running shoes. These shoes are so comfortable too:)
Here we are on the ride...I could not get a great picture of us together so this is as good as it gets. LOL As soon as we started going fast William started crying & thought he was going to get sick so we had to have them stop it & let him off:( My poor baby! He did get to ride the smaller kiddy rides so he had alot of fun. Isn't it nice to know that you can have good clean fun with the kids? I love spending time with them!

When I tried to take a picture of my pinks for today the battery was dead on my camera:( So I thought I would post a few pics. of things that I would like to have. So here goes... this pink car belongs to Aretha Franklin, what a blessed woman & what good taste she has. I would love to have one of these cars & in pink would make it perfect!!!This next one is a pink clawfoot bathtub. How fun would this be???
A pink bedroom fit for a pink Queen... this looks so cozy. I bet I would have some good dreams in this room!!!
Last but certainly now least is this lovely pink diamond ring... now if I had to choose I would take the car but why can't a woman have her cake & eat it too!!!

Memories for Pink Saturday

I could not decide what to post today, but when I was brushing my teeth this a.m. I glanced at this picture hanging in my bathroom. My Grandmother gave it to me for a birthday gift in 1998. She wrote on the back of it so that I would always remember where I got it. She wrote "Sarah Bell, happy birthday... I love you. Live for Jesus & meet me in Heaven... PLEASE" She always told all of us to meet her in Heaven. OH, I miss her so much. It was nice to see her hand writing.

I am back for Pink Saturday

Today's Pink Saturday is not something that is mine, but I thought it was the cutest thing:)
We saw this car sitting at our bank & my kids just had to have a picture. I thought what am I going to do with a picture of a pig car??? Then I thought PINK SATURDAY! I hope you enjoy as much as we did!

My house is HOLY

Saturday night the devil tried to steal my baby. She was in the bath & she had peanut M&M's that I did not know she had. When I walked in the bathroom she was vomiting & I said" oh, are you sick?" My son said "No Mama she is choking on a peanut!!!" I of course jerked her up & screamed for my Dad, as Dad ran into the room to help & I moved to let him help her I said " I pleed the blood of Jesus" and within seconds she had vomited up 2 peanuts & was breathing!!! No-one will ever be able to tell me that the blood of Jesus is not powerful!

I have been dealing with some very personal & hurtful issues this past week, but when I went to church yesterday morning the Spirit of God was so strong & the message was soooo for me. Wow, God really cares for us & knows what we need.
A word was given and the Lord said "when you cannot control what is happening be still and let God do what needs to be done. you never know how God is going to bring people to Him" That really touched me because I am not in control of alot of things in my house & I have to trust God. I want God to be in control but sometimes I don't like His timing. I am usually not a very patient person, but I am learning! I am claiming the passage that is found in Joshua...
Choose you this day whom you will serve, but as for me & my house we WILL serve the Lord!!! Joshua 24:15
My whole house WILL serve the Lord & be on fire for God. I am sick of half way doing things...my children deserve to have the whole deal. Thank-you God that my children & my house is sanctified through the precious blood of Jesus!

My new toy

It is that time again...Pink day. Thank-you Beverly, for hosting us:) My post for today is my new phone. I really love this phone. It is a beautiful color of pink.Here is the back of the phone. Don't you just love how the back is a darker pink?
Here I am talking on it...this happens alot!!! I love to talk on the phone. LOL It is a nice accessory.

Prayer

Isn't prayer wonderful? I am posting my prayer journal. I love to write my prayers down, but of course I can't have just a plain notebook...so I spice it up a bit! I just bought a sketch book & used scrapbook paper & stickers to make it uniquely mine:)I love this sticker...Angels are all around us!

Pink Easter Saturday

I am late posting on this wonderful Pink Saturday...I was going to post last night so that this would happen. When I got home last night I had such a bad headache...so I jsut went to bed.
I am posting some of my Eater decorations. Above is one of my Easter houses. This one is my favorite one because it is pink.

What happened to spring????

We woke up to bunches & bunches of snow today. I am not complaining!!! The kids & I have been praying for snow all winter...I guess God just thought we needed it now:)It has snowed like this most of the night last night & the day today...it is still at it. We decided to have a snow party at my Mom's house, so Dad picked us up at lunch time & now we are snowed in. So we are having a slumber party.

Needless to say that my pink Saturday contribution is not what I had planned for it to be.
I looked around trying to decide what I would post & I saw Emma's new sippy cup sitting on the table. I love sippy cups, bottles, & dufers (pacifiers). I love to find new cute ones for my babies. This one is so pretty in pink & flowers.
So while I look at all of your wonderful pinks, I will be sipping coffee, snuggled in a blanket on my Mom's couch...Yippy

Heaven

This morning Emma & I were snuggling on the couch. She loves to talk, so we were talking about Jesus & her Heaven Daddy (God). LOL She was so interested in every-thing that I had to say about Jesus coming back & angels being with us. Her little eyes would light up when I would answer her questions. Just think of how happy that must make Jesus when even a little child can see the good & feel the excitement of His return. I am so excited about being in Heaven...oh the joy!!!

Boys in Pink???

I got to looking at all of my past pink posts' & I have alot of Emma...so I got to thinking why not post one of William. Here is my Prince in pink. LOLLook at what a cool guy he is.
The other day I was on my computer & I turned around to make sure that the puppy was not getting into anything...I guess he got into something, but I thought this was too cute. I had been at my Mom's house most of the weekend so I just put everything in this pink bag, I had not yet put it away so I guess Thunder found a cozy spot for a nap.

Pink saturday...Happy birthday Emma

Happy birthday Emma Kay...Monday March,2 my little Emma turned 3=( She is getting so big. When I asked her what kind of birthday she said "a pink one" that made me happy! This is a picture of the cupcakes that I made for her party! We always decorate the kitchen table when we have birthday party's. So this is a picture of her very cute decorated birthday table.
Last but certainly not least is the birthday girl herself...of course she is dressed in pink for her pink birthday. While this is a sad for me because I miss her being a baby, we had a great party & it was also a very happy day!
